Introduction:

 

 

The School of Engineering & Technology of Maharishi University of Information Technology successfully conducted a webinar on "AI for a Greener Tomorrow: Harnessing Technology for Sustainable Growth". The session was led by Dr. S. Vijayalakshmi, an expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in sustainability. The webinar aimed to educate students on the significance of AI in addressing global environmental challenges and promoting sustainable growth. 

 

Objectives:

The primary objectives of the webinar were: 

  • To introduce students to the concept of AI in sustainability and its impact on the environment. 
  • To discuss the role of AI-powered technologies in tackling climate change, energy efficiency, and waste management. 
  • To showcase real-world applications and case studies of AI being used for environmental conservation. 
  • To encourage students to explore AI-driven solutions for promoting a sustainable future. 
  • To address challenges and ethical concerns related to AI in environmental sustainability.
