Objective of the Workshop:

 

 

A workshop on "Manupatra: A Legal Research Tool" was organized at Maharishi Law School on 10th February 2025. The session was conducted by Mr. K.K. Pankaj, an esteemed legal expert and researcher. The workshop aimed to enhance the understanding of legal research methodologies using Manupatra—one of India's leading online legal research databases—among students and faculty members.

Participating Students:

The primary attendees of the workshop were first-year BBA LLB and BA LLB students.

The Maharishi Law School (MLS), Noida, under the IQAC initiative, organized the workshop on the theme "Manupatra" on 10th February 2025 in the Moot Court at the MUIT Noida Campus. The objective was to familiarize participants with the features and functionalities of the Manupatra platform. Dr. K.B. Asthana, Dean of MLS, welcomed the guest and inaugurated the session.

The workshop aimed to:

  • Demonstrate effective legal research techniques.
  • Guide students on retrieving case laws, statutes, and legal commentaries efficiently.
  • Discuss the role of digital legal research in modern legal practice.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where participants clarified their doubts and discussed advanced legal research strategies. The event was a resounding success, equipping attendees with essential skills for effective legal research using Manupatra.
