“Supreme Court Live Streaming”

Objective of the Event: The primary objective of the Supreme Court live streaming event was to facilitate experiential learning and enhance students' understanding of court procedures and legal proceedings and to provide students with firsthand exposure to the functioning of the Supreme Court of India, enabling them to observe court proceedings and understand the dynamics of legal practice.
Maharishi Law school, Maharishi University of Information Technology in coordination with IQAC, organized a Supreme Court live streaming event as part of the Legal Professional Skill Development Activities for students of B.A LL.B, BB.A LL.B and LL.B programs. The event aimed to provide students with practical insights into various court cases and legal issues through real-time observation of Supreme Court proceedings.
The live streaming event took place in the Moot Court, providing students with a simulated courtroom environment for immersive learning. Prof. (Dr.) K. B Asthana (Dean MLS), and Dr. Annu Bahl Mehra (Deputy Dean MLS), graced the event with their presence, demonstrating institutional support and encouragement for such educational initiatives.
During the live streaming, students had the opportunity to observe various court cases and legal proceedings. An interactive session was conducted concurrently, wherein faculty members facilitated discussions and invited students to ask questions related to the observed proceedings. This interactive exchange encouraged critical thinking and deeper engagement with the content. Faculty members, Mr. Arun Kumar (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Ritu Meena (Assistant Professor), organized and conducted the event, ensuring its smooth execution and educational value.
