Mr. Dinesh Pathak (Director)
Maharishi University
of Information Technology

In my extensive journalism career of almost three decades, I came across myriad budding journalism students. With almost all of these brilliant kids, I observed one feature to be constantly common among them that they were all very well read and had sound theoretical understanding of the profession they had chosen to pursue, but, lacking in practical experience and exposure of industrial working. So, when I joined MUIT as Director, I was very clear that I need to ensure that our students do get the needed industrial feel, exposure and know how. This actually aligns with the National Education Policy 2020 which heavily underlines the importance of outcome based learning, industrial internship, skill and project based learning. With state of art studios and the cutting edge technologies, we are attempting to expose our students to the environment that they’ll in tomorrow. To groom our students, we aim to make bulletins, publish news, and provide real work experience through industry visits. This we aim to undertake realizing our students the sensitivity, importance and responsibility of the important pillar of democracy.
