My dear young friends and aspiring lawyers, studying law is a life-changing decision. As law professionals, we all draw our fundamental rights from the Constitution. We all stand by to embrace, preserve, and protect its glory and proliferate its objectives in influencing the law and policy-making process. I also want all my prospective law students at MUIT to be proud of their decision to study law while they enter a law school. It may interest you to know that most of our freedom fighters and the members of the Constituent Assembly who drafted the Constitution of India were members of the Bar. With more young students joining the judicial system, it has come to be noticed that the pace of speedy justice delivery mechanisms has increased by multiple folds, and newer reformative measures are also stacked in line, giving rise to a transformative legal arena. Most democracies have seen that the lawyers have always reached the top, be it the Parliamentarians, Cabinet Ministers of the State or Heads of the bigger democracies.
