“HR Quiz and Rapid Fire”

Objective       
The objective of the event was to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of Human Resource Management concepts through an interactive quiz and rapid-fire activity. The event aimed to test participants’ awareness of HR theories, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, labor laws, organizational behavior, and current HR practices. The activity also focused on improving students’ quick-thinking ability, teamwork, and decision-making skills under time pressure.

Participating  Students
Students from MBA, BBA, and B.Com programs actively participated in the event. The activity was conducted under the HR Club initiative, where students participated in teams of two members each. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 28 students who showcased energetic involvement, reflecting their strong interest in human resource and management-related activities.


The Maharishi School of Business Management, Noida, organized an academic activity titled “HR Quiz and Rapid Fire” on 17th February 2026, MSoBM Department, MUIT Noida Campus, in association with IQAC.

Participants were invited to take part in the quiz through a Google Form link. The event commenced at 2:00 PM with a brief introduction to the quiz format and guidelines. A total of nine teams, each comprising two members, participated in the first round of the quiz. The quiz was conducted in three interactive rounds designed to assess participants’ knowledge across diverse HR domains. These rounds included conceptual and case-based questions on Human Resource Management. The first round consisted of a screening test based on True/False questions in written format, making the session dynamic and intellectually stimulating.

After the preliminary screening round, seven teams were shortlisted for the second round based on their performance. This round consisted of multiple-choice questions based on cases and various areas of Human Resource Management. Participants demonstrated a commendable understanding of topics such as HR theories, motivational models, recruitment practices, employee engagement, industrial relations, and contemporary HR trends. The activity fostered a healthy competitive environment and encouraged students to think critically and respond confidently under time constraints. This round concluded with the shortlisting of five teams for the third and final rapid-fire round.

The activity concluded with the announcement of winners, where three teams secured the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions based on their overall performance. The event fostered a healthy competitive spirit and encouraged students to think critically and respond promptly. The interactive nature of the activity kept the session lively and intellectually stimulating.

The quiz session also involved faculty members and students who actively engaged with participants, providing constructive feedback and insights into HR concepts. The event successfully enhanced students’ practical understanding of Human Resource Management beyond classroom teaching and promoted experiential learning.
