“Finance Quiz League – Enhancing Financial Awareness and Analytical Thinking”

Objective of the Event:
The objective of the event was to enhance students’ financial awareness and analytical abilities through an engaging, quiz-based learning activity. The event aimed to test participants’ knowledge of financial concepts, banking, capital markets, business awareness, and current economic developments while promoting interactive and experiential learning.

Participating Students:
Students from the MBA, BBA, and B.Com programs actively participated in the event. A total of 33 students took part in teams, and the quiz witnessed enthusiastic involvement and high engagement, reflecting students’ strong interest in finance and business awareness activities.

The Maharishi School of Business Management, Noida, organized an academic activity titled “Finance Quiz League” on 13th February 2026. The event commenced at 2:00 PM with a brief introduction to the quiz format and guidelines.

A total of 10 teams, comprising 2–4 members each, participated in the first round of the quiz. The quiz was conducted in two interactive rounds designed to assess participants’ knowledge across diverse financial domains. These rounds included conceptual as well as application-based financial questions. The initial screening was conducted through an MCQ-based written test, making the session dynamic and intellectually stimulating.

After the preliminary round, five teams were shortlisted for the second round based on their performance. Participants demonstrated commendable understanding of topics such as banking systems, financial markets, economic trends, financial institutions, and business awareness. The activity fostered a healthy competitive environment and encouraged students to think critically and respond confidently under time constraints.

The quiz session also involved active interaction between faculty members and students, during which participants received constructive feedback and valuable insights on financial concepts. The engaging format of the quiz made the session lively and enriched students’ practical understanding of finance beyond classroom learning.

The activity concluded with the announcement of winners, where three teams secured the first, second, and third positions based on their overall performance. The event successfully enhanced financial literacy, encouraged teamwork, and motivated students to stay updated with current financial developments. Overall, the Finance Quiz League proved to be an enriching and impactful learning experience for all participants.
