World Meditation Day

Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) celebrated World Meditation Day on December 22, 2025, with great reverence and collective enthusiasm, reaffirming its commitment to holistic education and inner well-being.
The programme commenced with the sacred Guru Puja, creating an atmosphere of gratitude and spiritual reflection. This was followed by an inspiring message from the Hon’ble Chancellor, who emphasized the significance of meditation in nurturing clarity of mind, inner peace, and balanced living in today’s fast-paced world.
The event also featured the profound message of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ji, highlighting the timeless relevance of Transcendental Meditation as a scientific and practical approach to individual growth and societal harmony. A deeply enriching Group Meditation session was then conducted, allowing participants to experience inner calm and collective coherence.
Further enriching the programme, Ms. Aditi Shrivastava, Advisor, School of Science of Consciousness, shared her insightful message, underscoring the role of consciousness-based education in fostering personal excellence and social well-being.
The event was graced by the benign presence of Dean Academics, HR Head, Dy. Dean Academics, Deans, Faculty and staff of Maharishi University.
The event was gracefully concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Dean, School of Science of Consciousness, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, speakers, organizers, and participants for making the celebration meaningful and successful.
The programme was efficiently moderated by Mr. Yagyavrat Sharma, whose seamless coordination ensured the smooth flow of the event. Overall, the celebration served as a powerful reminder of the transformative impact of meditation on individual and collective life.
