Introduction

The Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (MSoET), Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida Campus in collaboration with IQAC, organized an interactive Expert Talk on Artificial Intelligence to provide students with deeper insights into emerging technologies and their real-world applications. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its growing importance in academia, industry, and research.

The expert talk was delivered by Dr. Suyash Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Gurukul Kangri (Deemed to be University). The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 60+ students across various programs, including B. Tech. (Computer Science & Data Science), BCA (AIML), and MCA (AIML).

Objectives of the Session

The key objectives of the expert talk were:

• To introduce students to core concepts of Artificial Intelligence
• To provide insights into AI tools, Machine Learning models, and Deep Learning Techniques
• To motivate students to pursue research, innovation, and industry-oriented skills in AI
• To encourage interaction between students and experts from reputed academic institutions

Expert Talk Session Highlights

Dr. Suyash Bhardwaj began the session by giving an overview of Artificial Intelligence, its evolution, and its impact on modern technology. He explained how AI has become an integral part of various sectors such as healthcare, finance, education, smart systems, automation, and data-driven decision-making. The session covered the following major areas:

Artificial Intelligence Tools and Techniques:

Dr. Bhardwaj introduced students to commonly used AI tools and platforms, explaining their relevance in solving real-world problems and building intelligent applications.
