Introduction

 

 

The Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (MSoET), Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida Campus, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized ZENITH 2025 – The Freshers’ Party to welcome the newly admitted students of the B.Tech, BCA, MCA, Diploma, and Actuarial Science programmes. The event aimed to create a vibrant, inclusive, and celebratory environment, enabling freshers to feel welcomed, confident, and motivated at the beginning of their academic journey.

 

ZENITH 2025 provided a platform for students to showcase their cultural talents, creativity, and confidence, while fostering interaction and bonding between senior and junior students.

Inaugural         Session
The event commenced at 1:00 PM with a welcome and introduction session, during which the hosts warmly greeted all dignitaries, faculty members, and students. This was followed by an address by the Dean, MSoET, Prof. Dr. Awakash Mishra, who extended a cordial welcome and shared inspiring words with the fresher’s, encouraging them to pursue academic excellence along with holistic development.

An energetic opening dance performance set an enthusiastic tone for the event and captivated the audience from the very beginning.

Mr. & Ms. Fresher Competition

One of the major highlights of ZENITH 2025 was the Mr. & Ms. Fresher Contest, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.

Ramp Walk Round:

A total of 20 teams participated in the ramp walk round, confidently presenting themselves with elegance, style, and individuality. The round assessed students’ confidence, stage presence, and overall personality.

Talent Round:

The Talent Round featured 10 shortlisted teams, where participants showcased their unique skills, including dance, singing, acting, poetry, and other creative performances. This round reflected the diverse talents and creativity of the students.

Final Question & Answer Round:

The competition concluded with the Final Q&A Round, where the top 5 teams were evaluated based on their communication skills, clarity of thought, confidence, and presence of mind. The questions tested not only knowledge but also the students’ outlook and personality.

Cultural Performances

In addition to the competition rounds, the event featured a variety of entertaining cultural performances, including duo and group dances by students. A special dance and song performance by senior boys added excitement and energy to the celebration, keeping the audience engaged throughout the program.

Result Announcement and Felicitation

The program culminated with the Result Announcement and Title Distribution Ceremony, where the winners of Mr. & Ms. Fresher 2025 were announced and crowned. Hitika Chillar and Dipanshu from B.Tech Data Science(CDS) won the Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher titles respectively. The winners were selected based on their confidence, creativity, talent, and overall personality, and the moment was celebrated with loud applause and great enthusiasm from the audience.

Dignitaries and Guidance

The event was honored by the gracious presence of Group Captain O. P. Sharma, Director General of MUIT, whose encouragement greatly motivated the students. The successful organization of ZENITH 2025 was made possible under the able guidance and support of Dr. Trapty Agarwal (Dean Academics) and Prof. Dr. Awakash Mishra (Dean, MSoET).

Closing Ceremony

The event concluded with closing remarks, followed by a group photograph session capturing memorable moments of the celebration. A lively DJ session marked the end of the event, allowing students to celebrate, interact, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

Conclusion

ZENITH 2025 – The Freshers’ Party was a grand success, offering a perfect blend of cultural expression, talent, and entertainment. The event played a vital role in boosting the confidence of fresher’s, promoting camaraderie, and creating a sense of belonging within the university community. It truly marked a joyful and memorable beginning for the new batch of students at MUIT Noida Campus.
