Prize Distribution Ceremony: Coding Competitions

Objective of the Event: To showcase the coding talents of the participants and encouraging the spirit of learning and excellence

Introduction

The Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (MSoET) at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida in association with upGrad & IQAC conducted the Coding Competitions & Prize Distribution ceremony for Mind2Model Challenge (14th Oct, 2025),  Insight Hunt (15th Oct, 2025) & FlowMind (16th Oct 2025) for B. Tech. CSE with Data Science Students.

1) Mind2Model Challenge: The event was project-based, focusing on Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Deployment. The competition comprised one round Project Completion where participants developed and showcased end-to-end AI-driven solutions. Participants also delivered presentations explaining their project concepts, implementation process, and results.

The round culminating in the selection of the top three performers:

  1. Aditi Sharma - 1st Place
  2. Nikhil - 2nd Place
  3. Saurav Anand - 3rd Place

2) Insight Hunt: The event was project-based, focusing on Python, Statistics, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), and APIs. The competition comprised one round Project Completion where participants demonstrated their ability to apply analytical and programming skills to real-world problems. Participant’s also delivered presentations explaining their project objectives, methodology, and outcomes. The event concluded with the selection of the top three performers:

  1. Nidhi Saraswat - 1st Place
  2. Rishabh Jha - 2nd Place
  3. Mayank Joshi - 3rd Place

3) FlowMind: The event comprised a single round, which was an MCQ-based elimination round focused on Java problem-solving. The questions were carefully crafted to assess participants’ understanding of core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, exception handling, collections, and logical reasoning. Students demonstrated strong analytical thinking and programming proficiency while solving a variety of conceptual and scenario-based challenges.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and concluded with the announcement of the top three winners, who showcased exceptional coding and problem-solving abilities in Java. These winners were recognized for their outstanding performance and awarded certificates of merit in appreciation of their achievement.

  3. Diksha Rawat - 3rd Place

The competition was a remarkable success, showcasing the coding talents of the participants and encouraging a spirit of learning and excellence.
