Objective of the Celebration: On the occasion of Constitution Day, the Legal Aid Cell of Maharishi Law School, in association with IQAC, the Pro Bono Club (Ministry of Law & Justice), and the District Legal Services Authority, successfully organized a Preamble Recitation and Quiz Competition on 26 November 2025 at the Moot Court. The event aimed to deepen students’ understanding of the Constitution and reaffirm their commitment to its core values. Participants enthusiastically recited the Preamble, reflecting their respect for India’s constitutional ethos, followed by an engaging quiz that tested their knowledge of constitutional law, history, and governance. The program not only strengthened students’ grasp of constitutional principles but also promoted teamwork, legal awareness, and a sense of civic responsibility. The celebration served as a meaningful platform for nurturing informed, responsible, and constitutionally conscious future legal professionals.
Participating Students: 50 students of BA LLB, BBA LLB and LL.B
Maharishi Law School observed National Constitution Day on 26 November 2025 to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. The event was organized with the objective of promoting constitutional literacy and reinforcing the significance of constitutional values among students and faculty members. As part of the celebration, an academic Quiz Competition was conducted to assess and enhance students’ understanding of constitutional principles, fundamental rights, governance structures, and contemporary legal developments.
The programme commenced with a formal welcome address delivered by Dr. Amita Rathi, Dean, Maharishi Law School, who underscored the relevance of the Constitution as a dynamic and evolving document shaping the democratic framework of the nation. In her remarks, Dr. Rathi reflected upon the vision of the framers of the Constitution and emphasized the need for future legal professionals to actively engage with constitutional ideals in both academic and practical spheres. She reiterated the importance of fostering constitutional awareness and encouraged participants to internalize values of justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity in their personal and professional conduct. The event sought to deepen students’ comprehension of the Constitution’s capacity to address emerging societal and legal challenges while providing an interactive platform to strengthen their analytical and critical thinking abilities. The Constitution Day programme was effectively coordinated by Dr. Amita Rathi, Dean, along with Prof. K. B. Asthana and other faculty members of Maharishi Law School. The celebration concluded successfully, reflecting the institution’s continued commitment to cultivating constitutionally informed and responsible members of the legal fraternity.
