On November 12, 2025, the Department of Media at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida Campus, organised an educational visit to Shri Krishna Nagari, Mathura, as part of its cultural and heritage study programme. The one-day trip aimed to provide students with experiential learning about India’s spiritual traditions, temple architecture, and cultural heritage. The journey offered valuable insights into the religious, historical, and artistic significance of the sacred city in northern India.
The visit commenced with Banke Bihari Mandir, which is known for its devotional atmosphere, intricate carvings, and vibrant rituals. This visit helped students observe traditional patterns of worship and understand the deep-rooted devotion that shapes local cultural life. In contrast, the Radha Vallabh Mandir stands as a symbol of divine love and spiritual unity, and the visit deepened the students’ understanding of the Radha–Krishna tradition.
At the ISKCON Temple, also known as the Sri Krishna-Balaram Mandir, students witnessed a modern yet traditional approach to temple management and community engagement. The visit to Prem Mandir added a strong visual and architectural dimension to the trip. The use of modern lighting and design elements combined with traditional motifs, enabled students to understand how contemporary art and technology are integrated into devotional spaces.
