Objective of   the       Session:
The “Circle of Confidence” activity aimed to help students open their minds to new perspectives, overcome self-doubt, and develop a strong, positive self-image. The session was conducted as an outcome of the MoU signed with SkillsRediscovery, reinforcing their shared vision of bridging the gap between academic learning and practical skill development.

Participating  Students:
A total of 57 students from MBA and BBA programmes participated.

The session began with the felicitation of Mr. Sushant Maheshwari, Keynote Speaker, by Dr. Azad Singh, Dean, Maharishi School of Business Management. Following this, the session started with an engaging discussion on “opening the door of the mind,” encouraging students to think freely, challenge limiting beliefs, and adopt a growth-oriented mindset.

Mr. Maheshwari emphasized that confidence begins internally and grows when individuals believe in their own abilities and values. He explained the importance of confidence in various aspects of life — from facing interviews and leading teams to decision-making and effective expression of ideas. He highlighted that confidence is not arrogance; rather, it represents self-trust strengthened through preparation.

The speaker also discussed how emotional state influences body language, communication, and overall performance. Through interactive exercises, he demonstrated how maintaining positive emotions can enhance motivation and increase one’s presence in any situation.

Key aspects of confidence-building discussed:

  • Understanding self-worth and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Overcoming the fear of failure and stage fright
  • Importance of body language and communication
  • Role of preparation and self-awareness in boosting confidence

Addressing common challenges, Mr. Maheshwari explained why individuals often feel a lack of confidence and what happens during moments of nervousness. He clarified that nervousness is a natural response to uncertainty but can be managed through awareness, controlled breathing, and positive self-talk. He also highlighted how confidence can be developed systematically through consistent practice, self-reflection, setting achievable goals, and celebrating small successes.

Conclusion:
The Skill-Development Activity was insightful and inspiring for all participants. It not only addressed the psychological aspects of building confidence but also provided actionable strategies for strengthening it. Students gained valuable insights into emotional regulation, self-belief, and effective communication — essential qualities for success in academic and professional environments. The workshop successfully motivated students to step into their own “circle of confidence,” ready to face challenges with clarity, courage, and optimism.
