“Pitch Your HR Innovation”

Objective:
The objective of the activity “Pitch Your HR Innovation”, organized by the HR Club, Maharishi School of Business Management, was to foster creativity, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills among students by encouraging them to design and present innovative HR practices, policies, or technologies that address contemporary organizational challenges. The activity sought to bridge the gap between theory and practice by enabling participants to apply classroom concepts to real-world contexts, while also enhancing their presentation, pitching, and communication skills. It further aimed to promote teamwork and leadership through collaborative idea development, nurture an entrepreneurial and design-thinking mindset, and develop strategic insights that align HR innovations with overall business goals.
Eighteen students (six teams) from BBA and B.Com second and third year participated in the activity.
This activity was designed as an interactive and intellectually stimulating platform where students were critically engaged in designing practical solutions for real-world HR challenges. The event was structured around three carefully selected employee-related problems that required HR intervention to prevent or resolve conflicts.
For each challenge, two teams consisting of three students each presented their own innovative solutions.
The event was judged by Dr. Shubham Kumar Singh, who conducted a thorough evaluation based on Innovation & Creativity, Impact & Value Addition, Presentation & Communication, and Q&A handling by the participants. The winners were declared as follows:
The activity “Pitch Your HR Innovation” helped students develop creative problem-solving abilities, strengthen their presentation and pitching skills, and foster teamwork and leadership. It also focused on bridging academic learning with practical HR applications, preparing students to become innovative and industry-ready HR professionals. Audience members gained valuable insights into contemporary HR issues, while participants built essential professional competencies for future HR roles. Overall, the event enriched academic learning through practical exposure.
The participants were appreciated by Dr. Aditya Yadav (Dean, MSOBM) for their outstanding work. All participants received certificates in recognition of their enthusiastic involvement
