Legal Awareness Program on “Good Touch, Bad Touch”

 

 

Organized by: Maharishi Law School in accordance with IQAC & Probono Club

Objectives

  • To help children understand the concept of personal space and the difference between appropriate (good) and inappropriate (bad) touch.
  • To encourage children to identify uncomfortable or harmful situations and confidently report them to trusted adults or authorities.

Program Overview

The Legal Aid Cell, Maharishi Law School, Maharishi University of Information Technology, in collaboration with the Pro Bono Club, Ministry of Law and Justice (Government of India), the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Gautam Budh Nagar, and IQAC, organized a Legal Awareness Program on “Good Touch, Bad Touch” at Rana Sangram School, Dadri, Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

The program aimed to educate girl students about the concepts of good touch and bad touch, enabling them to differentiate between the two and empowering them to speak up and report inappropriate behavior to the concerned authorities. The interactive session sought to build awareness, instill confidence, and promote a safe and supportive learning environment for children.

Over 100 students enthusiastically participated in the awareness drive.
