The Maharishi School of Science of Consciousness (MSOC), MUIT, Noida Celebrated National Ayurveda Day on 23rd September 2025 with great enthusiasm and devotion. The theme of this year’s celebration, “Ayurveda for People, Ayurveda for Planet”, beautifully reflected the timeless relevance of Ayurveda not only for individual well-being but also for sustaining the health of our planet.

The event was honored by the gracious online presence of Ms. Amrita Shrivastava, TM-Sidhi Administrator and Ayurveda Health Consultant, who joined as the chief guest and keynote speaker. The program was also attended by faculty members, staff, and students of MSOSOC, both offline and online, marking a vibrant confluence of knowledge, culture, and tradition.

The celebration commenced with a Guru Puja, performed with devotion to seek the blessings of Guru Dev. This sacred beginning set a serene and inspired tone for the day.

Following this, students offered a soulful rendition of the Dhanvantri Vandana, invoking Lord Dhanvantri—the divine physician—for the eradication of suffering and the promotion of health, happiness, and prosperity.

In her insightful lecture, Ms. Amrita Shrivastava highlighted how Ayurveda is not merely a medical system but a science of life, deeply interwoven with consciousness, balance, and nature’s intelligence. She emphasized:

  • The role of diet and daily routine (Ahara and Dinacharya) in maintaining physical and mental health.
  • Ayurveda’s holistic approach to prevention rather than cure.
  • The global significance of Ayurveda in addressing lifestyle disorders and planetary health through eco-friendly practices.

Her words enlightened students and faculty alike, reminding everyone of Ayurveda’s potential to bridge personal wellness and environmental sustainability.

 Cultural Programs

  • Speeches & Essays – Highlighting Ayurveda’s relevance in modern times.
  • Thematic Skit & Play – Focusing on diet (Pathya-Apathya) and lifestyle for disease prevention.
  • Interactive Sessions – Engaging discussions on natural remedies, Ayurvedic herbs, and sustainable living practices.

These activities reflected the enthusiasm, knowledge, and talent of the students while spreading the message of Ayurveda in a lively and engaging way.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Mudita Agarwal, Dean, School of Science of Consciousness. She expressed gratitude to the guest speaker, faculty, staff, and students for making the celebration meaningful and successful.
