INTRODUCTION

The International Conference on 'Awakening Wellness: Challenges and Solutions,' hosted at Maharishi University on September 17–18, 2025, brought together an inspiring confluence of Yoga, Ayurveda, Consciousness Studies, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Organised by the Maharishi School of Science of Consciousness and the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences in collaboration with IQAC, the conference featured traditional invocations, keynote addresses, academic presentations, and cultural programs. It served as a platform for thought leaders, scholars, and practitioners from across disciplines to exchange ideas and explore pathways for global health transformation.

DAY 1: SEPTEMBER 17, 2025

The first day of the conference began with a traditional Guru Puja, setting a serene and meditative atmosphere. This was followed by a soulful Ganesh Vandana performed by students, symbolically removing obstacles and invoking blessings. Dr. Mudita Agarwal then delivered the inaugural address, warmly welcoming the participants and articulating the objectives of harmonising ancient wellness practices with modern scientific approaches. Ms. Aditi Shrivastava introduced the principles of the Science of Creative Intelligence and Transcendental Meditation, offering insights into consciousness as a foundation for health.

Inspirational words from the Honourable Vice Chancellor and visionary reflections from the Honourable Chancellor set the tone for a forward-looking exploration of wellness. The session continued with felicitations and keynote addresses by distinguished guests, including Dr. Deependra Singh and Dr. Ishwar Bhardwaj, who highlighted contemporary challenges and integrative solutions in the domains of yoga, ayurveda, and pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Akash Ved, as Guest of Honour, further enriched the session with his perspectives on global health strategies.

The afternoon was dedicated to academic exchange through poster and oral presentations, enabling participants to share their research with peers and experts. Eminent speakers such as Dr. Ramnarayan Mishra, Dr. Sachin Gupta, Dr. Suresh Barnwal, Dr. Tanveer Naved, and Dr. Supaya Wenuganen contributed to thought-provoking discussions on topics ranging from Ayurveda and consciousness to innovative pharmaceutical practices. The day concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a convivial high tea, creating opportunities for networking and meaningful dialogue among participants.

DAY 2: SEPTEMBER 18, 2025

The second day commenced with Guru Puja and Ganesh Vandana, sustaining the spiritual ambience that characterised the event. Dr. Mudita Agarwal extended a warm welcome to all, after which the guests were felicitated. The Honourable Chancellor, Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastava, addressed the gathering on the importance of applying the principles of the Science of Creative Intelligence in daily life, emphasising their transformative potential for individual and collective wellbeing.

Eminent speakers such as Dr. Rashid and Dr. Kamakhya Kumar delivered insightful sessions virtually, contributing valuable perspectives on wellness, yoga, and consciousness. After the lunch break, the afternoon began with an address by Dr. Shweta Bajaj, followed by academic reflections from Dr. Trapty Agarwal. The Honourable Vice Chancellor, Director General, and Chancellor shared words of reflection, blessings, and enlightenment, respectively, underlining the holistic vision of the conference.

Distinguished Guests of Honour, including Dr. Raghavendra Rao M and Dr. Ajay Sachan, offered their insights on health transformation. The distribution of awards recognised outstanding research/Abstract presentation,  adding a celebratory note to the academic spirit. A vibrant cultural performance by students showcased artistic expressions of wellness, drawing the two-day conference to a graceful close. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks, followed by high tea, leaving participants with memories of scholarly exchange and shared inspiration.

CONCLUSION

The International Conference on Awakening Wellness: Challenges and Solutions successfully blended tradition and modernity, spiritual insight and scientific rigor. Through ceremonies, keynote discourses, academic presentations, and cultural showcases, it created a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and global collaboration.
