Independence Day Celebration at Maharishi University,

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida Campus. The campus was adorned with the colors of the National Flag, reflecting the pride and unity of the occasion.
The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem. The event was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Justice Harish Gupta (Retd.), and the Guest of Honour, Lt. Col. Sudhir Kumar (Retd.), whose presence added dignity to the celebration. Welcoming the guests, Dr. Trapty Agrawal, Dean Academics, emphasized the historical significance of Independence Day and highlighted the responsibilities of the youth in building a strong and responsible nation.
The cultural program, presented by the students, included patriotic songs and group dances that captivated the audience. The performances paid homage to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and rekindled the spirit of nationalism.
In his address, Justice Harish Gupta urged the students to uphold honesty, duty, and constitutional values in their lives. Lt. Col. Sudhir Kumar, drawing on his experiences in the Indian Army, motivated the youth to embrace discipline and dedicate themselves to the service of the nation.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of Deans, Deputy Deans, faculty members, students, and staff. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, during which all present collectively reaffirmed their commitment to the nation.
