Celebration of Earth Day 2025

On the occasion of Earth Day 2025, celebrated globally on 22nd April, the students of Maharishi University (MLS) marked the day with great enthusiasm and responsibility. Under the theme “Clean Earth, Green Future”, a meaningful nukkad natak (street play) was organized by the students in Tugalpur, aiming to spread awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability. The nukkad natak drew attention to critical issues such as pollution, deforestation, plastic waste, and the urgent need for collective action to preserve our planet. With powerful dialogues and impactful performances, the students highlighted the importance of keeping our surroundings clean, planting trees, and adopting eco-friendly habits. 20 number of students actively participated in the event, showcasing their creativity and commitment to a greener future. Such initiatives by young minds are crucial in shaping a sustainable tomorrow. Maharishi University’s efforts on Earth Day stand as a shining example of youth-driven environmental activism, aligning perfectly with the global call for a “Clean Earth, Green Future.” The programme was guided by Dr. Trapty Agarwal and coordinated by Dy. Registrar, Dean Students Welfare and Dean, MLS.
