Introduction

 

 

Maharishi Law School organized a Summer Internship Drive on 9th May 2025 in collaboration with SV Associates Legal Firm, a reputed name in litigation and legal consultancy. Students from BALLB, BBALLB, and LLB programs participated enthusiastically to build their careers in the legal field.

 

The primary goal of the drive was to provide law students with hands-on experience in legal practice through structured summer internship opportunities across various legal domains.

Specifically, the internship drive aimed to:

• Create a structured, real-world legal learning platform for students, enabling them to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice.
• Offer first-hand exposure to the legal field, helping students develop practical skills and fostering career readiness through meaningful legal assignments under the guidance of seasoned legal professionals.
• Provide direct access to reputed legal professionals and organizations, enhancing students’ understanding of diverse fields such as litigation, corporate law, constitutional law, and public interest law.
• Develop critical skills such as legal research, drafting, case analysis, documentation, client interaction, and courtroom observation, thereby nurturing professional competence.
• Enable students to explore their career interests, refine their goals, and build networks for future employment through active participation in a professional work environment.
• Encourage ethical legal practice, professional discipline, and responsibility, aligning students with the standards and expectations of the legal industry.
• Strengthen institutional partnerships with law firms and legal institutions, reinforcing the law school’s commitment to experiential learning and holistic legal education.
• Facilitate merit-based selection and placement, ensuring that opportunities are provided based on talent, interest, and potential—fostering a culture of excellence and healthy competition.

Ultimately, the internship drive served as a vital initiative to empower law students with practical knowledge, real-world experience, and professional mentorship, laying a strong foundation for their future careers in the legal domain.
