Sustainable Development Strategies for Accelerating Businesses in the Modern World

Objective of the Event:
The International Conference "Vision 2047" aimed to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on sustainable development, technological transformation, and business acceleration strategies as India marches towards its centenary of independence. The conference provided a platform for academicians, researchers, industry leaders, and students to share insights, exchange ideas, and collaborate on futuristic strategies.

Participants:
Academicians, researchers, and students from various colleges and universities across the nation participated in teams, through registration and submission of research papers in both online and offline modes.

The International Conference: Vision 2047 – Sustainable Development Strategies for Accelerating Businesses in the Modern World, an annual mega event hosted by the Maharishi School of Business Management, MUIT, Noida, was conducted on 19th April 2025 in the Auditorium of the MUIT, Noida Campus. It was a dynamic and engaging conference showcasing various research works in different fields of management from across the country.

A total of 50 registrations were received across various tracks, reflecting wide interest in the conference themes. Out of these, 15 papers were successfully presented through a combination of online and offline modes, ensuring broad accessibility and dynamic engagement.

The research paper presentations were categorized into four tracks based on thematic relevance:

 

Track 1: Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Chaired by: Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar, University of Delhi
This track focused on fostering creativity, entrepreneurship, and new business models. The papers presented were:

Track 2: Digital Marketing in the Age of AI

Chaired by: Dr. Lalit Kumar Sharma, Galgotias University
This session explored how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing marketing practices. The papers presented were:

Track 3: FinTech and the Future of Financial Services

The session focused on emerging financial technologies and digital finance. The papers presented were:

Track 4: HR Analytics – Predictive and Prescriptive Approaches

Chaired by: Dr. Avnish Sharma, GLA University, Mathura
This track focused on how data-driven HR strategies shape organizational success. The papers presented were:

Through keynote addresses, technical sessions, and panel discussions, the conference aimed to inspire forward-thinking approaches to ensure long-term success in an evolving global economy.

The event commenced with a traditional Tika ceremony for guests and participants, followed by Guru Pujan and a vibrant Ganesh Vandana performed by students to invoke auspicious blessings. Prof. (Dr.) Smita Mishra, Dean, School of Business Management, delivered the Welcome Address, highlighting the significance of the conference theme and setting the tone for the day.

The technical sessions were steered by an eminent panel of session chairs who brought deep academic expertise and industry perspectives to the discussions:

  • Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar, University of Delhi, chaired Track 1. With over 22 years of academic experience and as Editor-in-Chief of the ABDC-listed Academy of Marketing Studies Journal, he offered rich insights into entrepreneurial ecosystems and startup strategies.
  • Dr. Lalit Kumar Sharma, Associate Dean at Galgotias University, chaired Track 2, bringing expertise in digital marketing and pharmaceutical business strategies.
  • Prof. Shikha Jalota, Professor at IMS Ghaziabad, chaired Track 3, offering valuable perspectives on financial technology and inclusivity.
  • Dr. Avnish Sharma, Associate Professor at GLA University, chaired Track 4, guiding discussions on data-driven HR practices.

The Valedictory Session was graced by Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastava, Hon’ble Chancellor of MUIT, who delivered an inspiring address on India’s journey towards global leadership by 2047.

The Guest of Honour, Prof. (Dr.) Justin Paul, Provost and Dean at NMIMS Mumbai, delivered a powerful keynote address. As one of the most highly cited researchers in business and marketing globally, his presence added great intellectual value to the conference.

Adding further prestige, Prof. (Dr.) O.P. Sharma, Director General of MUIT, shared visionary insights on future-ready education and leadership.

A proud moment for the university was the official launch of the School of Business Management’s Book Cover, symbolizing MUIT’s dedication to academic excellence.

The event concluded with the announcement of Best Paper Awards and a Certificate Distribution Ceremony.

The awardees were honored with a Winner’s Trophy and Certificates of Participation. All other participants received certificates as well.

The proceedings concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem, marking the successful culmination of a truly inspiring and transformative conference. The day ended with an evening of networking over Hi-Tea, where participants exchanged ideas, forged new connections, and reflected on their enriching experiences.
