FAREWELL: GAMAN - 2025

Objective of the Event: To honor and celebrate the graduating students’ achievements, create lasting memories, and strengthen bonds between seniors, juniors, and faculty through heartfelt tributes and cultural expressions.

Participating Students: BA (J&MC) and MA (J&MC) first and Second year students organised this farewell party for their senior students of BA (J&MC) third year and MA (J&MC) second year.

The farewell ceremony held on April 30, 2025, by the Department of Media at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida Campus, was more than a goodbye—it was a heartfelt celebration of memories, achievements, and hopeful beginnings. Organized with enthusiasm and affection by the juniors and faculty, the event was a warm tribute to the outgoing batch.

The celebration began with a traditional welcome, setting a respectful and festive tone. Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta, Dean of the Department, addressed the gathering with inspiring words, congratulating the students on their journey so far and encouraging them to pursue their dreams with passion, integrity, and commitment.

The program was rich with cultural performances that reflected the creativity and spirit of the department. Students presented soulful songs, energetic dances, evocative poetry, and emotional speeches—each performance adding color and emotion to the occasion. One of the highlights was the much-awaited Title Ceremony, where Mr. Farewell was awarded to *Mr. Pushkar Mittal, and *Ms. Farewell to *Ms. Tanishka*, both from the Department of Media.

As the event progressed, senior students took to the stage to share heartfelt memories, express their gratitude to faculty and peers, and reflect on their time at the university. These moments added a nostalgic and emotional depth to the evening.

Dr. Mithilesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating the collective efforts of students and faculty in making the event memorable. The celebration concluded with a group photo session, capturing smiles and sentiments, followed by a joyful farewell lunch.

The event was gracefully anchored by *Mr. Shubham Swaraj, **Mr. Anshuman Rai, and **Mr. Himanshu Chaudhari*—students from the Master’s and Bachelor’s programs in Media—whose energy and presence added vibrance to the occasion.
