Objective of the Event:
The event aimed to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students and provide them with a platform to showcase their innovative business ideas.

 

Participating Students:
Students from various colleges and universities across the nation participated in teams by registering and submitting their business plans.

The “MUIT Young Sharks 2025 – National Business Plan Competition (Season 3)”, an annual flagship event organized by the Maharishi School of Business Management, MUIT, Noida, was successfully conducted on 2nd April 2025 at the university auditorium. The event served as a dynamic platform to highlight entrepreneurial talent and showcase groundbreaking business ideas from across the country.

With over 70 teams and 150+ participants from reputed institutions including the Institute of Chemical Technology (Mumbai), Delhi Technological University (DTU), Goa Institute of Management (GIM), Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Management Development Institute (MDI, Gurgaon), Amity International Business School (AIBS), and many more, the competition witnessed a strong and enthusiastic national presence. After a rigorous screening process based on pre-defined criteria, 19 teams were shortlisted to present their business plans before a distinguished panel of judges.

The event commenced with a Guru Puja, followed by the felicitation of esteemed judges, Mr. Vikash Chand Dubey, Associate Vice President at Zopper with 19+ years of experience in leadership roles across companies like Reliance Retail, OneAssist, Onsitego, and Reliance Jio; and Ms. Shweta Kashyap, an inspiring entrepreneur and founder of Prismatic Décor Pvt. Ltd.

 

 

Dr. Trapty Agarwal, Dean – Academics, opened the event with her encouraging remarks, followed by a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Smita Mishra, Dean – Maharishi School of Business Management. She inspired the participants and boosted their morale.

Out of the 19 shortlisted teams, 15 teams turned up for the final event. 7 teams presented before the lunch break, and the remaining 8 teams showcased their ideas post-lunch. The participants were required to present comprehensive business plans that outlined their vision, strategy, and value proposition, while also addressing questions posed by the judges.

The competition not only provided a platform for competition but also encouraged collaboration, networking, and valuable learning through feedback sessions and mentorship from judges and industry experts. Beyond recognition, winners received access to funding, mentorship, and entrepreneurial resources, further enabling them to grow and implement their ventures. The event played a significant role in nurturing future business leaders and catalyzing innovation within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Throughout the day, the atmosphere was charged with creativity and ambition. From high-tech startups to sustainability-driven initiatives, the diversity of ideas reflected the expansive scope of innovation and entrepreneurship among Indian youth.

Winners’ Details:

  •  1st Prize:
    Team Azeedo, XIM University, Bhubaneswar
    Business Idea: An Agritech startup revolutionizing sustainable farming through cutting-edge organic crop protection solutions.
    Award: ₹21,000 cash prize, Winner’s Trophy, and Certificates of Excellence
  •  1st Runner-up:
    Team Mandi Bhai, ABESEC, Ghaziabad
    Business Idea: A B2B e-commerce platform connecting wholesalers and retailers.
    Award: ₹11,000 cash prize, 1st Runner-up Trophy, and Certificates of Excellence
  • 2nd Runner-up (Tie):
    Team Assafa, Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology, MUIT Noida
    Business Idea: Spices free from preservatives, chemicals, artificial colors, and added flavors.

Team Wellora, Maharishi School of Business Management, MUIT Noida
Business Idea: An AI-powered scanner app for decoding food ingredients and suggesting healthier alternatives.
Award: ₹5,100 cash prize (each team) and Certificates of Excellence

  • 3rd Runner-up:
    Team The KIKI Tribe, Maharishi School of Business Management, MUIT Noida
    Business Idea: A recyclable and reusable clothing brand that is both sustainable and fashionable.
    Award: ₹2,100 cash prize and Certificates of Excellence

The event concluded with the National Anthem and a networking session between judges and participants.

Conclusion:

The "MUIT Young Sharks 2025" was a remarkable success. It not only celebrated the spirit of entrepreneurship but also provided a nurturing ground for innovation, collaboration, and personal growth. Participants and audiences alike appreciated the well-organized format, vibrant atmosphere, and the immense learning opportunity. The event exceeded expectations and left a lasting impact on all attendees, reinforcing MUIT's commitment to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.
