Participating Students: Students of Maharishi University Shine at the What India Thinks Today (WITT) Summit 2025

Students from Maharishi University, Noida Campus, proudly participated in the prestigious What India Thinks Today (WITT) Summit 2025, organized by TV9 Bharatvarsh at the iconic Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. This significant national event brought together policymakers, intellectuals, media professionals, and emerging youth leaders from across the country.

The university delegation was led by Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta, accompanied by a team of esteemed faculty members from the Media Department, who guided and mentored the students throughout the event. Their presence reflected the university’s commitment to fostering active civic engagement, intellectual dialogue, and real-world exposure to policy discussions among its students.

One of the major highlights of the summit was the inspiring keynote address by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, who captivated the audience with his vision for a progressive and inclusive India. Emphasizing the power of youth and the importance of participatory governance, PM Modi remarked:

"In our third term, we have to take India's potential to new heights... The coming five years are crucial for India's journey towards becoming a developed nation."

The WITT Summit 2025 served as a powerful platform for dialogue, bringing together thought leaders, global experts, policymakers, and future change-makers under one roof. Sessions covered a range of critical topics, including governance, technology, economy, sustainability, and the role of youth in nation-building.

The students of Maharishi University actively engaged in the sessions, gaining invaluable insights into the evolving political, economic, and social landscape of India. The experience not only broadened their understanding of current affairs but also deepened their appreciation for the role of media and communication in shaping public opinion and policy.

This remarkable participation not only enriched the academic experience of the students but also underscored Maharishi University’s dedication to nurturing informed, responsible, and visionary citizens of tomorrow.
