“Ad- Mad Show” –Where Creativity Meets Madness (Season-2)

Objective of the Event: To foster creativity, communication skills, and marketing acumen by challenging participants to create entertaining advertisements within a limited timeframe, promoting teamwork and innovation.
Participating Students: MBA, B.Com, and BBA students were the primary participants of the event.
The Maharishi School of Business Management, Noida, in collaboration with IQAC, organized an event named Ad-Mad Show—Where Creativity Meets Madness, Season 2, on February 27, 2025 (Thursday) in the auditorium at MUIT, Noida Campus.
Prof. (Dr.) Smita Mishra (Dean, SOBM) commenced the event with an inspiring and motivating speech, encouraging participants to explore their creativity and think beyond conventional boundaries. Her words set a positive tone for the day, energizing the teams to put forward their best efforts in the competition.
The Ad Mad Show was a vibrant and entertaining event that showcased the creativity and talent of our students. A total of 15 teams participated in the event, demonstrating their enthusiasm in developing innovative advertisements to promote fictional products. The products ranged from fairness cream, smart lock wallets, hair oils, energy drinks, jewelry, and more. The event was a vibrant amalgamation of humor, strategic thinking, and rapid ideation. The auditorium was abuzz with energy as each team confidently presented their assiduously crafted commercials in a restricted time frame, incorporating catchy jingles, witty dialogue, and captivating visuals to promote a variety of products.
The event was judged by Mr. Shivam Yadav, Editor-Electronic Media, School of Media & Animation, and Dr. Ashish Gupta, Assistant Professor, SOBM, Noida. The judges meticulously evaluated the teams based on several criteria, including creativity, originality, presentation skills, and the overall impact of the advertisement. Their constructive feedback helped all participants better understand the nuances of crafting effective and memorable advertisements.
The competition was intense, with each team presenting unique and impressive ads that showcased their creativity and marketing skills. After a thorough evaluation, the winners were announced:
The winners and runners-up were awarded trophies and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance and creativity. All other participants, regardless of their ranking, were awarded certificates of participation, acknowledging their contribution to making the event a success.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the organizing team, expressing gratitude to the judges, participants, and everyone who made the event a memorable one. The AD-MAD Show Season 2 not only provided an opportunity for students to showcase their creative talents but also allowed them to develop important skills in communication, teamwork, and advertising.
In conclusion, the AD-MAD Show Season 2 was a massive success, bringing together students from various disciplines to collaborate, innovate, and express their creativity in a fun and competitive environment. The event highlighted the importance of creativity in the world of business and marketing, and the participants left with valuable experiences, memories, and recognition for their hard work.
