“ALUMNI MEET- FIESTA 2025”

The Event & Cultural Committee of Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida, in collaboration with IQAC, successfully organized an enriching and exciting Alumni Meet – Fiesta 2025 on February 22, 2025 (Saturday), at MUIT Noida Campus. The event was a highly anticipated gathering that brought together alumni, faculty, and students to celebrate the achievements of alumni while fostering a strong and continued connection with their alma mater.

 

Objective of the Event: The primary objective of the event was to reunite alumni from different graduating batches, enabling them to reconnect, share cherished memories, and strengthen their bond with the university.

Attendees:  The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from every member of the MUIT family, including:

• Dignitaries
• Deans of all schools
• Alumni from both Noida & Lucknow campuses
• Current students of Noida campus
• Teaching & non-teaching staff members
• Families of staff members

The event commenced with a Tilak Ceremony at the entry gate, setting a warm and traditional tone for the day. This was followed by a spiritual Guru Puja, performed in honor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, led by Dr. Mudita Agarwal. The presence of dignitaries and alumni in this solemn ceremony added a sense of reverence, uniting everyone in a moment of collective reflection and prayer.

The energy in the auditorium heightened as Group Captain Prof. O.P. Sharma (Director General) and Prof. (Dr.) Bhanu Pratap Singh (Vice Chancellor, MUIT) took the stage to share their words of wisdom. Their motivational speeches emphasized the importance of alumni engagement and their role in the university’s continued growth and development. Their words deeply resonated with the audience, instilling a renewed sense of pride among the alumni.

The event continued with a soulful performance of Ganesh Vandana by students, creating a serene and joyous atmosphere. The Felicitation Ceremony was a key highlight, where distinguished alumni from both Noida and Lucknow campuses were honored for their outstanding achievements in various fields. They were presented with trophies as a token of recognition and appreciation.

Adding to the excitement, students showcased a variety of cultural performances, ranging from traditional dance forms to contemporary music, further enhancing the celebratory mood.

One of the most anticipated moments of the event was when alumni took the stage to share their personal experiences and professional journeys after graduation. Their heartfelt stories of challenges, success, and gratitude inspired current students and reinforced the lasting impact of the university on their lives.

The event reached a moment of profound inspiration with the address by Hon’ble Chancellor, Ajay Prakash Shrivastava. His words of wisdom and blessings emphasized the importance of values, hard work, and maintaining strong ties with one’s alma mater, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

The event concluded on a note of gratitude as Dr. Trapty Agarwal, Dean Academics, MUIT Noida, extended a heartfelt Vote of Thanks. She acknowledged the tireless efforts of the event organizers, faculty, staff, IT team, and everyone who contributed to making the Alumni Meet – Fiesta 2025 a grand success.

The most eagerly awaited part of the fest was the musical performance by renowned singer B Praak at the Football Ground, MUIT Noida Campus. His electrifying energy and soulful music created an unforgettable night of pure magic and entertainment, perfectly wrapping up the event.

The grand celebration concluded with a vibrant Holi celebration with flowers, where alumni, students, faculty, and guests joyously participated, embracing the festive spirit with enthusiasm.

Conclusion

In summary, the Alumni Meet – Fiesta 2025 was an overwhelming success. The seamless coordination, meticulous planning, and collective efforts ensured a memorable experience for everyone involved. The event not only celebrated the university’s rich legacy but also strengthened the bond between alumni and their alma mater, paving the way for a bright and connected future.
