“Poster Making Competition”

Objective of the Workshop:
The workshop aimed to develop creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, presentation, and networking skills among students.
Participating Students:
The primary participants of the Poster-Making Competition were students from BBA and B.Com programs.
The Maharishi School of Business Management, MUIT, Noida, in collaboration with IQAC, recently commemorated "National Management Week" through a Poster-Making Competition held on February 18, 2025, at the SOBM Department, MUIT, Noida Campus.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. Smita Mishra, Dean of the Maharishi School of Business Management. The competition was graced by distinguished judges, Dr. Mudita Agarwal, Dean, SOC, and Dr. Shweta Bajaj, Dean, SOPS, Noida. Additionally, Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta, Dean, School of Media; Mr. Gaurav Thakur, Deputy Dean, SOC; and Mr. Anil Kumar Roy, Dean, School of Animation, attended the event, lending their support and expertise.
About the Competition:
The Poster-Making Competition, organized as part of National Management Week, aimed to celebrate and promote dynamic management skills through creative visual representations. The theme, “Showcasing Dynamic Management Skills,” encouraged participants to explore and illustrate key management concepts such as:
Through their artwork, participants visually demonstrated the importance of these concepts in today’s fast-paced and ever-evolving business world. The posters depicted effective task prioritization, balancing personal and professional responsibilities, ethical business practices, and leadership strategies that contribute to organizational success.
Judging Criteria and Evaluation:
The posters were evaluated based on the following criteria:
Participants showcased diverse interpretations of management principles—some emphasizing self-discipline and time optimization, others highlighting the role of CSR and ethical business practices, while many explored leadership and teamwork as drivers of organizational growth. Several posters also depicted strategic management as a key factor in ensuring long-term business sustainability.
Beyond being a creative exercise, the competition encouraged students to think critically, apply theoretical knowledge, and engage in meaningful discussions about the significance of management skills in professional life.
