“Industrial Visit to Haier India Limited, Greater Noida”

Objective of the Visit: The visit aimed to provide insights into Haier’s manufacturing processes, technological advancements, and operational strategies.

Participating Students: Total 28 students from MBA 2nd Semester were participants of the visit.

An industrial visit to “Haier India Limited, Greater Noida” was successfully organized by Maharishi School of Business Management on Tuesday, 28th January, 2025. A total of 28 students from MBA 1st Year visited Haier to gain practical insights into logistics operations, supply chain management, and cargo delivery. The group accompanied by Dr Rupali Johri (Assistant Professor) of SOBM and Ms. Kumkum of T&P cell departed from MUIT at 9:30 AM and reached the Haier by 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, the students were greeted by Ms Aashi, PR Manager, who provided an overview of the company, its mission, vision, values, and business operations. A group photo was taken at the facility gate   to commemorate the visit.

  • About Haier: Haier Appliances India Private Limited, established in 2003, is a subsidiary of Haier Singapore Investment Holding Pte. Ltd. Headquartered in Greater Noida, Haier India has become a prominent brand in home appliances and consumer electronics in the country. The company operates two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities: one in Ranjangaon, Pune, and another in Greater Noida.
  • Manufacturing Process: The Company follows a streamlined assembly line with advanced automation and robotics.
  • Quality Control: Haier implements rigorous quality checks to maintain international standards.

The session was highly interactive and provided students with practical insights into the inner  workings of Haier India Limited, a leading home appliances and consumer electronics company. The visit aimed to provide insights into Haier’s manufacturing processes, technological advancements, and operational strategies.

Conclusion:

The visit concluded with a felicitation ceremony where Dr Rupali Johri and Ms. KumKum presented Vastram to Ms. Zenith of Haier India. The students returned to MUIT at 3:00 PM after a valuable learning experience the company. The industrial visit to Haier India Limited was highly informative. It offered a comprehensive understanding of the company's operational excellence, product development strategies, and commitment to customer satisfaction. The experience provided valuable practical exposure to real-world industrial operations.
