Objective of the Event: To celebrate the 76th Republic Day by honouring India's democratic values, cultural heritage, and the spirit of unity and patriotism.

 

Participants: Faculty, staff and students.

The Republic Day celebration was a grand and patriotic event that reflected the spirit of unity, diversity, and national pride.

The event commenced with the gathering of students, faculty, and staff on the ground for the flag hoisting ceremony. The tricolour was unfurled, symbolizing the sovereignty and unity of the nation, followed by the entire assembly singing the National Anthem in unison. This moment instilled a sense of pride and patriotism in everyone present.

Dean Academics Dr. Trapty Agarwal delivered a heartfelt welcome speech, emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The speech set a positive tone for the rest of the event.

The Chief Guest was honoured with a token of appreciation by the Dean Academics. This gesture highlighted the institution's gratitude for the Chief Guest's presence and contributions.

Students showcased a series of cultural performances, including songs, dances, and skits. These performances celebrated India's rich cultural heritage and depicted the sacrifices of freedom fighters, leaving the audience inspired.

Our Chief Guest, honourable Dr. Rajeev Kumar Mehajan delivered an inspiring address, reflecting on the significance of Republic Day and the responsibility of citizens to uphold democratic values. His words encouraged the audience to contribute positively to society and the nation.

Dr. K.B. Asthana expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. Special thanks were extended to the organizers, participants, and attendees for their active involvement.

The event concluded with a second rendition of the National Anthem, reaffirming the sense of unity. This was followed by the distribution of sweets, spreading joy and camaraderie among all participants.

The Republic Day celebration was a meaningful and memorable occasion, fostering a deep appreciation for the values of democracy, freedom, and equality.
