Objective of the Workshop: The workshop aimed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to write clear, concise, and effective business reports that meet organizational needs       and        enhance              decision-making abilities.

 

Participating Students: The workshop was attended by MBA 1st Sem, BBA  1st Sem,  BBA 3rd Sem and B.Com 3rd Sem students.

The Maharishi School of Business Management, Noida, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a two-day workshop on "Effective Business Report Writing: From Basics to Advanced Techniques" on the 12th and 13th of September, 2024, at the SOBM Department in MUIT, Noida Campus.

The workshop featured Dr. Tanvi Gupta, Founder and CEO of YOUNG MINDZ, who is a trainer, orator, writer, and academician with over 13 years of experience. The workshop began with the felicitation of Dr. Tanvi Gupta by Prof. (Dr.) Smita Mishra, the Dean of SOBM.

Day 1:

The first day of the workshop focused on establishing the fundamentals of effective report writing. Students learned about the purpose and structure of business reports, developing skills to produce clear, concise content. Interactive sessions and group exercises emphasized report organization, tone, and style. Students gained insights into best practices for crafting engaging introductions, informative body content, and impactful conclusions.

 Day 2:

Building upon the first day's foundation, the second day concentrated on the effective utilization of data and visuals in reports. Students discovered how to collect, analyze, and present data to support findings and recommendations. The workshop also covered editing and proofreading techniques to help students refine their reports for clarity and accuracy. Group exercises and practical applications reinforced the new skills acquired, leaving students feeling confident in their ability to generate high-quality business reports.

The workshop successfully achieved its objective of equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to produce top-notch business reports. The interactive sessions, group exercises, and practical applications made the workshop an engaging and valuable experience for all participants.
