Objective of the Event: The Fresher’s Party at Maharishi University of Information Technology on September 14, 2024, was an unforgettable experience for the new batch of students. This eagerly awaited event, organized by the School of Science of Consciousness, marked a joyful union of seniors and juniors.

 

Participating Students: B.sc (Ayurveda Diet and Nutrition), BA (Maharishi Yoga) and PG Diploma (Diet and Nutrition) and PG Diploma (Maharishi Yoga) and MA (Consciousness) students were the primary participants of the event.

The event was divided into four engaging segments: Entertainment, Games, Mr. & Ms. Fresher, and a DJ session. The skits performed during the party not only showcased the students' talents but also helped in boosting their confidence and enhancing their communication skills, contributing positively to their academic growth.

Highlights of the Party:

Warm Welcome: The day began with an auspicious Guru Puja, where blessings were sought from GuruDev. The presence of esteemed faculty members, including the Dean Academics and other Deans, added to the significance of the occasion. The Dean of the School of Science of Consciousness delivered an inspiring welcome speech, setting a positive tone for the celebrations.

Ramp Walk:

The party then moved on to a fun-filled ramp walk. The freshmen showed off their best struts, but with a twist! They had to do it in creative styles—some walked like a model, others like a superhero. It was a hilarious segment that had everyone in splits. The confidence and creativity of the freshmen showcased brightly on the stage.

Funny Dares:

To add some humor to the day, the freshers were given funny dares. From singing a song in a funny voice to doing a silly dance, the dares were lighthearted and entertaining. The laughter and cheers from the audience made it a highlight of the day.

Mr. and Miss Fresher Contest:

One of the most anticipated parts of the evening was the "Mr. and Miss Fresher" contest. The contestants went through various rounds, including a talent showcase, a Q&A session, and a fun task. The freshmen impressed everyone with their talents, charm, and sense of humor. After much excitement, Harsh Sharma and Palchhin were crowned as Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher, receiving applause and cheers from everyone present.

Dance and Music:

With the DJ playing the latest hits, the dance floor was packed with enthusiastic students. Freshmen and seniors danced together, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. The music, lights, and energy on the dance floor made it a day to remember.

Conclusion:

The party created an environment for forging lasting friendships and marked a significant moment of unity among the students. The vibrant atmosphere, highlighted by pulsating lights and lively music, set the stage for memorable performances and dancing. The joy and enthusiasm of the students were evident throughout the event, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.
