“Zenith 2024”- A Fresher’s Party

Objective of the Event: The objective is all about creating everlasting relationships among students. The aim is to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence.

Participating Students: BA (J&MC) and MA (J&MC) Second-year students organised this freshmen’s party for their junior students of BA (J&MC) and MA (J&MC) First Year.

The Fresher Party for the academic year 2024-25 was held on 11th September, 2024, at the Auditorium of Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida Campus. Organised by the senior students of BA (J&MC) and MA (J&MC) 2nd Year of Department of Media, the event was a warm and exciting welcome for the new batch of students. Our party theme was “Zenith 2024," and it was met with enthusiasm and excitement from both the seniors and freshmen. The event began at 11:00 AM with Guru Pooja by respected dignitaries. 

The day was filled with various cultural performances that showcased the diverse talents of the students. The performances included: *Dance Performances: * The dance teams, both freshmen and seniors, put up an electrifying show with a mix of traditional and modern dance forms. The choreography was vibrant, and the energy on stage was infectious. *Singing Performances: * Talented singers from both the senior and fresher batches captivated the audience with their melodious voices, singing a mix of popular songs and classical music. 

Stand-Up Performances: To break the ice between the seniors and freshmen, a series of interactive games were organized. These games included Ramp Walk, Talent Hunt, IQ, and many more. The games were a huge hit, with students participating with zeal. The Ramp Walk, in particular, was a highlight, where freshmen walked the ramp with confidence, showcasing their style and charisma.

Mr. and Ms. Fresher: One of the main attractions of the evening was the selection of Mr. and Ms. Fresher. After a series of rounds, including a talent round, Q&A, and ramp walk, the titles were awarded to Mr. Fresher-Sachin Kumar and Ms. Fresher-Tanya Sarashwat. The winners were presented with sashes, crowns, and gifts amidst cheers from the audience.

The day came to an end with a vote of thanks by HOD, Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta, Department of Media, Maharishi School of Media and Animation, followed by a DJ where everyone hit the dance floor. The Fresher Party 2024 was a grand success, leaving everyone with memories to cherish. It provided a perfect platform for the new students to bond with their seniors and get a taste of the vibrant student life at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida. Faculty and staff of the Media Department, including Dr. Mithilesh Kumar, Mr. Shivam Yadav, Mr. Arvind Kumar Singh, Mr. Mohan Singh Rawat, and Mr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, were present during the occasion.
