The Maharishi School of Science of Consciousness, Noida, organized a guest lecture on the theme “Relevance of Astrology in Modern Times and its Impact on Human Beings” on August 27, 2024 (Tuesday). The session was led by Dr. Deepak Sharma, a renowned astrologer and Vastu expert with over 30 years of extensive experience in astrology and Vastu both in India and internationally.
The speaker provided an in-depth knowledge of Astrology breaking down its major components and exploring their implications for various aspects of human being. The presentation covered significant features of astrology. He clarified that astrology is not a “fortune theory” but operates on the “Karma theory.” According to Dr. Sharma, planets affect individuals either malefically or beneficially, but they do not determine outcomes; instead, they reflect the results of an individual’s karma—whether it is Prarabdha Karma, Sanchit Karma, or Kriyamana Karma. He emphasized that astrology should be used as a guidance tool rather than a means to predict the future. It offers a clearer path, but individuals must take action to achieve their goals.
The session was interactive and concluded with a robust Q&A segment, during which students asked questions and engaged in discussions to clarify specific impacts on human beings.
