Maharishi School of Business Management successfully organized a session on Transactional Analysis on September 9, 2024, at SOBM Department, MUIT, Noida Campus.

The esteemed speaker was Dr. Puja Sareen, Professor and Head of Training, Consultancy, and Human Resources, Amity University, Noida. The lecture began with Prof. (Dr.) Smita Mishra (Dean, SOBM) felicitating the guest speaker.

The session began with an introduction to Transactional Analysis. The guest speaker explained that Transactional Analysis (TA) is a powerful tool for understanding human behaviour and communication. The key highlights of the session include the concept of three ego states - Parent, Adult, and Child—that shape our thoughts, feelings, and actions. It also explores the different types of transactions, including complementary, crossed, and ulterior, which can either facilitate or hinder effective communication. By applying the principles, individuals can gain self-awareness, recognize and change negative communication patterns, and resolve conflicts more effectively. Additionally, it promotes personal growth and development by encouraging individuals to take responsibility for their actions and decisions. Overall, Transactional Analysis offers a comprehensive framework for understanding and improving human relationships, making it a valuable tool for personal and professional development.

During the Q&A session that followed, students actively engaged with the speaker, posing insightful questions about Transactional Analysis. The lecture was informative and inspiring, making students more interested in applying TA in personal and professional relationships.
