  “Mastering Research Paper Writing: A Step-by-Step Guide”

Objective of the Session: To inspire and educate students on the importance and methodology of research in their respective fields and a comprehensive understanding of the research process, with its practical applications, preparing students for future research endeavours.

 

Participating Students:  The session was attended by MBA 3rd Sem, MBA 1st Sem, and BBA 3^rd         Sem students from Maharishi School of Business Management.
The 2nd session of the Classroom Connect series, titled "Mastering Research Paper Writing: A Step-by-Step Guide," was successfully organized on August 31, 2024, at the SOBM Department, MUIT,          Noida            Campus.
The guest speaker for the session was Dr. Neeti Sharma, an Associate Professor at JIMS Engineering Technical Campus, Greater Noida. The session commenced with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Smita Mishra, the Dean of SOBM, who felicitated the esteemed speaker.
Dr. Sharma began the session with an introduction to research, highlighting its importance in driving innovation, solving real-world problems, and advancing knowledge. She discussed key aspects of research, such as formulating research questions and objectives, conducting a literature review, selecting appropriate methodology for data collection, analyzing and interpreting data, and drawing meaningful conclusions and recommendations. Drawing from her personal experiences, Dr. Sharma emphasized the necessity of rigor, creativity, and critical thinking in the research process, as well as the importance of collaboration, persistence, and adaptability.
In the interactive Q&A session that followed, students actively engaged with the speaker, asking thoughtful questions about research and its various aspects. The session was both informative and inspiring, sparking students' interest in pursuing research opportunities and developing essential skills  for  their  future  careers.
Overall, the session on research provided students with valuable learning experience into the research process and its significance, motivating them to explore research further and enhancing their readiness for future research endeavours.
