Objective of the Workshop: To equip students with practical leadership strategies for overcoming modern management challenges, focusing on adaptability, emotional intelligence, and effective communication. The session aimed to inspire proactive and resilient leadership in navigating today's dynamic business environment.

Participating Students: MBA, BBA, and B.Com. Students.

Maharishi School of Business Management organized a workshop on "The Art of Leadership: Navigating Challenges in Modern Management" on 27th August 2024, in the Auditorium, MUIT Noida Campus.

The esteemed speaker was Dr. Yogendra Singh, President, Noida Management Association, having more than 23 years of long-intensive experience in education as well as the corporate world. The workshop began with a Guru Puja, followed by the guest speaker being felicitated by Hon’ble  Director General Prof. (Group Captain) O.P Sharma and Prof. Dr. Smita Mishra (Dean, SOBM).

The speaker, Dr. Yogendra Singh, enlightened the students with the fundamentals of leadership and its importance in achieving organizational goals and objectives. He discussed in detail about leadership and the expectations of the role. He explains the principles of good leadership and the importance of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and effective communication in managing diverse teams. Key challenges being discussed included navigating digital transformation, fostering a culture of innovation, and leading through uncertainty. Real-world examples and interactive discussions enriched the session, and practical tools inspired students to enhance their management skills in today’s dynamic business environment.

The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, which helped the students to express their opinions and clear their doubts, promoting discussions among the participants.

Overall, the workshop provided students with invaluable insights into the dynamic and challenging art of leadership. Through discussions, presentations, and interactive activities, the students gained a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with a leader to achieve the goals and objectives of an organization.
