An industrial visit to Moon Beverages Limited (Coca-Cola Plant), located at 2B/1, Ecotech-3, Udyog Kendra, Greater Noida, was successfully organized by the Maharishi Industry Relation Cell (MIRC) and Maharishi School of Business Management on Tuesday, 13th August 2024. A total of 29 MBA first-semester students participated in the visit to observe the operations of the automation production plant, managerial processes, and logistical work. This visit provided valuable insights into how theoretical concepts can be applied practically.

The students, along with the faculty coordinator and MIRC team, traveled to the plant by university bus, arriving at 10:30 AM. After completing the security check, the group was taken to the introduction room, where they were briefed on the rules and guidelines to be followed within the plant. The production manager and our guide, Ms. Richa Gupta, escorted the group to the assembly line and provided an overview of the plant's processes and operations. This included water treatment, ingredient mixing (such as sugar, flavor, CO2, nitrogen, syrup), bottle manufacturing, packaging, and logistics. Ms. Gupta also explained the quality tests conducted, the waste management and recycling processes, and the plant's adherence to strict water quality standards. Emphasizing environmental sustainability, the plant operates on the principles of reduce, replenish, and recycle.

At the end of the visit, the students were taken to the seminar hall, where Ms. Gupta answered various queries from the students. Before departure, the company offered refreshments in the form of cold drinks.

The industrial visit to Moon Beverages Ltd. (Coca-Cola Plant) enriched the students' knowledge and experience, offering a valuable opportunity to learn through practical demonstrations, interactions, and information exchange. This experience will significantly benefit the students in their future career growth.
