Objective of the Event: The orientation program's objective was to acquaint students with the school environment, spark their interest in academics, and establish connections with their peers and faculty members-to-be. It aimed to alleviate students' concerns and provide them with the necessary information and tools to navigate various aspects of college life, including academic, social, and administrative.

The programme began with a high-energy welcome address by the Dean, MLS Prof KB Asthana, highlighting the school's vibrant spirit and commitment to student success. Interactive sessions offered insights into the school's unique educational philosophy, curriculum details, and the vast array of resources available to support your learning journey. It was successfully coordinated by Prof Ajay Kumar, Dean Academic, MUIT, Prof. (Dr.) K.B. Asthana Dean MLS, Dr. Annu Bahl Mehra Dy. Dean MLS.

The guest speaker Mr. Sh. RS Goswami, Chairmen Enrolment Committee, and former chairman, of the Bar Council of Delhi, delivered an overview of the legal career landscape in India: This session could have provided insights into various practice areas (litigation, corporate law, intellectual property, etc.), career paths within the legal profession (litigation lawyer, corporate counsel, judge, etc.), and emerging trends in the legal field. The programme concluded with a Q&A session.

A meticulously planned orientation program holds significant importance in preparing students for success. Through imparting vital information, building connections, and cultivating an inclusive atmosphere, orientation programs can greatly enhance student retention rates and academic performance.
