Organized by: Maharishi law School in coordination with IQAC.


Objective of the Event: The objective of organizing a Nukkad Natak as part of the 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrating Legal Services Day, in collaboration with Maharishi Law School, NALSA (National Legal Services Authority), and DLSA (District Legal Services Authority), is to raise awareness and promote legal literacy among the masses.

Legal Services Day was celebrated on 9th November 2021, by National Legal Services Authority, State Legal Services Authority and District Legal Services Authority; the theme was " Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ".

The 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav marks a momentous occasion in India's history, celebrating 75 years of independence and progress. As part of this celebration, Legal Services Day holds special significance, highlighting the crucial role of legal services in safeguarding the rights of citizens and promoting access to justice for all. In collaboration with Maharishi Law School, NALSA, and DLSA, a Nukkad Natak was organized to commemorate this auspicious event and spread legal awareness among the community

It was a matter of great pride that Nukkad Natak was performed by the students of Maharishi Law School, MUIT, Noida on the theme of Animal Cruelty in front of Chief Justice of India, Hon'ble Sh. Justice N.V. Ramana, Union Law Minister Hon'ble Sh. Kiran Rijiju, Hon'ble Sh. Justice Uday Umesh Lalit, Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court, Hon’ble Sh. Justice Rajesh Bindal and Hon’ble Sh. Justice M.N. Bhandari and other dignitaries. The performance and the play was highly appreciated by all the dignitaries.

From MLS MUIT, Noida, Dr. K.B. Asthana (Dean, MLS), Dr. Annu Bahl Mehra (Dy. Dean) with other faculty members Dr. Trapti Varshney, Ms. Antima Mahajan, Mr. Arun Kumar, Mr. Kamshad Mohsin, Ms. Prabha Tripathi were also present.
