Objective of the Event: The Academic Society of Maharishi Law School, in collaboration with (IQAC), orchestrated an Essay Writing Competition on the occasion of Constitution Day. The event was designed to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of its principles among students.
The Essay Writing Competition garnered enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines, showcasing their profound insights into constitutional values and legal principles. The topics spanned from the significance of fundamental rights to the role of judiciary in upholding constitutional democracy.

The submitted essays displayed a remarkable depth of understanding, critical analysis, and eloquence in expressing thoughts on constitutional themes. Participants exhibited commendable research skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas concisely. A panel comprising esteemed faculty members meticulously evaluated the essays based on criteria such as clarity of thought, coherence, originality of ideas, and adherence to constitutional principles.
After thorough deliberation, Mr. Himanshu Tripathi, a student of BA LLB III Semester, emerged as the winner for his exceptional essay in English language whereas after thorough deliberation, Ms. Dipshikha Yadav, a student of BA LLB I Semester, emerged as the winner for her exceptional essay in Hindi language that elucidated the essence of constitutionalism and its relevance in contemporary society.

The Essay Writing Competition on Constitution Day provided students with a platform to engage in meaningful discourse on constitutional ideals and legal principles. It not only honed their research and writing skills but also instilled a deeper sense of responsibility towards upholding the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The event encapsulated the spirit of intellectual inquiry and academic excellence that defines Maharishi Law School.
