“Poster Making Competition”

Organized by: Maharishi Law School in coordination with IQAC

Objective of the Competition: The primary objective of the World Environment Day Poster Making Competition was to harness the creativity and imagination of participants to raise awareness and inspire action on critical environmental challenges through the medium of art.

Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida organized a Poster Making Competition for the students on the occasion of World Environmental Day. This competition was held on 4th June 2022.The Theme for the competition was ‘Sustainable Development’. The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. Students were asked to express their ideas through paintings and sketches. Students displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters. Students of different courses participated in the competition with immense zeal and enthusiasm and made beautiful posters which gave the message of saving our environment and providing a greener environment to our future generations. It was a great opportunity to watch these bright minds creating and displaying their ideas on paper. The activity kept the student engaged and gave them a platform to explore their creativity and to showcase their skills.
Ms. Himanshi Mittal (BBALLB II Semester) bagged the first position followed by Mr. Vaibhav Sharma (Data Science IV Semester) bagged the second position and the third position was secured by Ms. Supriya (BALLB II Semester).
Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta (Dean, School of Journalism and Mass Communication) and Ms. Trapty Aggarwal (Dean, School of Data Science) were guest of honour. Prize distribution was done by our Chief Guest Prof. Ajay Kumar (Dean Academics). Dr. KB Asthana (Dean MLS), Dr. Annu Bahl Mehra ( Deputy Dean), Dr. Trapti Varshney (Assistant Professor), Dr. Ritu Meena (Assistant Professor), Ms. Shritu Anand (Assistant Professor) and other faculty members were also present during the event.
