1st Virtual Moot Court Competition 2021

Objective of the Event: Maharishi Law School, in coordination with IQAC and the Indian National Bar Association (INBA), organized the 1st Virtual Moot Court Competition 2021. The competition aimed to provide students with a global platform to showcase their advocacy skills, engage in legal analysis, and foster cross-cultural exchanges in the field of law. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers successfully transitioned the competition to a virtual format, ensuring continuity and inclusivity in legal education and advocacy.

The primary objective of the Virtual Moot Court Competition was to promote academic excellence, professionalism, and international collaboration among law students from diverse backgrounds. By simulating real-world legal scenarios and courtroom proceedings, the competition aimed to enhance participants' research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills, thereby preparing them for future legal practice and leadership roles in the global arena.

The Virtual Moot Court Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from law students representing various institutions and countries across the globe. The competition comprised multiple rounds of oral arguments, where teams presented their legal arguments before a distinguished panel of judges consisting of legal practitioners, academicians, and experts in international law.

The 1st Virtual Moot Court Competition 2021, organized by Maharishi Law School in coordination with IQAC and the Indian National Bar Association, was a resounding success. The competition not only provided participants with a platform to showcase their legal acumen and advocacy skills but also facilitated meaningful interactions and collaborations across borders.
