World Environment Day

“Tree Plantation”

5th June, 2021

Organized by: Maharishi law School in coordination with IQAC.

Objective of the Event: On 5th June 2021, Maharishi Law School, in collaboration with the IQAC, organized a significant event commemorating World Environment Day. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable practices among students, faculty, and staff.
We were honored to have esteemed guest, Shri. Ajay Prakash Srivastava, Chancellor of Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), grace the occasion with his presence. His extensive knowledge and experience in environmental conservation added immense value to the event.

The event commenced with an inaugural address by Shri. Ajay Prakash Srivastava, who emphasized the critical importance of preserving our environment for future generations. He highlighted the urgent need for collective action to combat environmental degradation and climate change.

As a symbolic gesture of our commitment to environmental conservation, a tree plantation drive was organized on the premises of Maharishi Law School. Sj. Ajay Prakash Srivastava led the plantation drive, assisted by students, faculty, and staff members. A variety of saplings were planted, including indigenous species, to enhance the biodiversity of the campus environment.

The World Environment Day event organized by Maharishi Law School in coordination with IQAC was a resounding success, thanks to the active participation and support of all stakeholders. The event not only raised awareness about environmental issues but also fostered a sense of responsibility towards sustainable living. As we move forward, let us continue to strive for a greener and healthier planet for generations to come.
