Objective of the Event: Maharishi Law School, in coordination with IQAC, organized a webinar focusing on "Moot Court and its Relevance for Law Students." The webinar aimed to enlighten students about the significance of moot court competitions in legal education, emphasizing their role in enhancing advocacy skills, legal knowledge, and professional development. The event provided students with insights into the practical aspects of moot court participation and its relevance in preparing them for a successful career in law.

The primary objective of the webinar was to familiarize law students with the concept of moot court competitions and their importance in legal education. By hosting experienced guest speakers, the organizers aimed to elucidate the practical benefits of participating in moot court competitions, such as improving research and advocacy skills, enhancing courtroom demeanor, and gaining practical exposure to legal proceedings. The webinar sought to inspire students to actively engage in moot court activities and harness them as valuable learning experiences.

Guest Speakers of this webinar were Mr. Padmesh Kataria and Mr. Harshit Kiran.  Mr. Kataria, an experienced legal practitioner and moot court coach, served as one of the guest speakers for the webinar. With his extensive experience in training moot court teams and judging competitions, Mr. Kataria shared valuable insights into the practical aspects of moot court advocacy, including case analysis, legal research, oral advocacy skills, and courtroom etiquette. Mr. Kiran, a seasoned advocate and former moot court participant, provided firsthand perspectives on the relevance and benefits of moot court competitions for law students. Drawing from his own experiences, Mr. Kiran highlighted the transformative impact of moot court participation in developing confidence, critical thinking abilities, and professional competence among aspiring legal professionals.

Through insights from experienced guest speakers, participants gained a deeper understanding of moot court advocacy and its practical significance in legal education. The event inspired students to actively participate in moot court activities and harness them as valuable learning experiences to prepare for successful careers in law.
