Visit of Mr. Lothar Pirc
Mr. Lothar Pirc, CEO of Maharishi Ayurveda, BAD EMS, Germany, visited Maharishi University's Noida and Lucknow campuses on March 29 and March 31, 2023. During his visit, Mr. Pirc interacted with students and faculty members and also delivered an insightful talk on the Science of Consciousness, Transcendental Meditation and basics of Ayurveda for daily life, inspiring them to adopt Maharishi Technologies to improve their lives. The day began with a warm welcome for Mr. Pirc with Vedic mantras, which was followed by his visit to various schools, laboratories, and workshops on both campuses.
Mr. Lothar also gave valuable inputs about the perfect health system and the four goals of Ayurveda:
1. Prevention
2. Restoration of life
3. Longevity
4. Enlightenment
In a scientific study on transcendental meditation, he also provided insight into the definition of perfect health and the six stages of disease. After the session, Mr. Lothar Pirc planted a tree at Maharishi University as a symbol of partnership between a harmonious environment and being.
During his visit, Mr. Lothar Pirc was presented with a memento by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor (MUIT), Prof. BP Singh, in the presence of deans and faculty members. Additionally, he was felicitated by the honourable Chancellor, Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastava, Director General (Prof.) O. P. Sharma, Member of the Board of Governors, Shri Rahul Bharadwaj, and Ms. Aditi Shrivastava, Advisor Science of Consciousness in the Noida Campus, during a meeting with the management. The visit was highly successful and provided valuable knowledge and inspiration to the students and faculty of Maharishi University. It is recommended that others in the fields of Ayurveda and Transcendental Meditation follow in Mr. Pirc's footsteps and visit the university to share their expertise and insights.
