Objective of the Event: Maharishi Law School, in in coordination with IQAC, organized a webinar addressing the critical issue of the "Condition of Migrant Labourers during COVID-19." The webinar aimed to shed light on the challenges faced by migrant laborers during the pandemic and explore potential legal and policy solutions to mitigate their hardships.

The webinar was followed by Welcome Address by Dr. Ajay Kumar, Dean Academics MUIT, Noida and Introduction of Dr. S.C. Srivastava, Former Professor of Law, Head & Dean, Department of Law, Kurukshetra University by Dr. K.B Asthana Dean, MLS. Dr. Srivastava's expertise in labor laws and his significant contributions to the field made him an invaluable resource for the discussion. As the General Secretary of the National Labour Law Association and a member of the Committee Appointed by the Prime Minister to Review Labour Laws, his insights provided a comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand.
The webinar attracted a diverse audience, including students, academicians, legal practitioners, and policymakers. Participants actively engaged with the speakers during the Q&A session, seeking clarification on various aspects of migrant labor laws and sharing their own experiences and perspectives.
