Objective of the Event: The objective of a lecture on the Indian Judicial System and its hierarchy is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework, structure, and functioning of the Indian judiciary. The lecture aims to elucidate the three-tier structure of the Indian judiciary: Supreme Court of India and High Courts of State Subordinate Courts.
The event was organized by Maharishi Students Bar Forum of Maharishi Law School in coordination with IQAC. The session was addressed by guest speaker Sh. Harjeet Singh Secretary, North District Legal Services Authority, Rohini Courts New Delhi.
The Delhi Judicial System plays a pivotal role in ensuring justice, maintaining law and order, and safeguarding the rights of citizens in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Let’s delve into the structure, hierarchy, and key aspects of the Delhi judiciary. Overall the ceremony was a great success in terms of providing a platform for students a unique opportunity to apply legal theory in a practical setting, helping them develop essential advocacy skills while valuable experience that can contribute to their professional development.
The event drew to a close with by Dr. Annu Bahl Mehra, Dy. Dean, MLS delivering a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude for everyone’s participation and contributions. Her words resonated with warmth, wrapping up the occasion on a note of appreciation.
