“Resume Writing & Interview Preparation”

Objective of the Workshop: The objective of the workshop was to provide students with practical guidance and resources to enhance their resume writing and interview preparation skills and to familiarize students with strategies and techniques for preparing for job interviews, including how to articulate their strengths, answer common interview questions, and make a positive impression.

The Maharishi University of Information Technology Research Center (MIRC) organized a workshop on "Resume Writing & Interview Preparation" on 3^rd June 2022. The workshop was designed to equip students with essential skills and techniques for crafting effective resumes and preparing for interviews. Students from Maharishi School of Law and School of Animation attended the workshop in person at the MUIT Noida campus auditorium, while more than 70 students participated virtually from the MUIT Lucknow campus.

The workshop featured a guest speaker, Mr. Sagar Radhi, who presented an innovative methodology for resume writing. Through interactive sessions and role-play activities, students learned about the importance of using keywords, action words, and other techniques to create impactful resumes. They also had the opportunity to vet their resumes and distinguish between effective and ineffective resume examples.

The presence of Honorable Vice Chancellor (MUIT), Deans of Schools, and Faculty members throughout the session underscored the significance of the workshop in enhancing students' professional development. Their appreciation and encouragement further motivated students to actively participate and engage with the workshop content.
