“Fresher’s Party Celebration”

Objective of the Event: The event, held on the 9^th November 2022, was a memorable occasion for the incoming batch of Law students (2022-23) at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida campus. With a blend of excitement, nervousness, and anticipation, the fresher's day was a mix of emotions for all attendees. The primary objective of the Freshers' Party was to provide a warm and welcoming environment for the incoming batch of students.

"Aarambh: Towards a New Beginning" marked the much-awaited Freshers' Party organized by Maharishi Law School in coordination with IQAC. The event, held on the 9th of November 2022, was a memorable occasion for the incoming batch of Law students (2022-23) at Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida campus. With a blend of excitement, nervousness, and anticipation, the fresher's day was a mix of emotions for all attendees.

The theme for the freshers’ day was mixture of Punjabi and South Indian. The celebration started at sharp 11:30 hour at the Utsav Bhawan (Auditorium) by our anchors Ms. Isha and Mr. Aniket with the warm welcome of all the faculty members, the jury and students present in the function. This was followed by the guru Pooja by the Dignitaries. Followed by this the welcome speech was given by O.P Sharma (Director General), and the fresher were formally welcomed into the MUIT Law Family. Prof.(Dr.) K.B. Asthana Dean MLS, welcomed the students with his motivational speech he welcomed new students in a friendly atmosphere and encouraged them towards a new beginning. The event was organized by Dr. Ritu Meena (Assistant Professor, MLS) and MS. Prabha Tripathi (Assistant Professor, MLS).

The event was graced with the presence of Group Captain Prof. O.P. Sharma, (Director General), Dr. Smita Mishra, (Dean SOBS), Mr. Bhanu Pratap Maharatha, (Dean, School of Animation).

Events started with solo dancing performances by some of the of second year students to welcome the juniors. After this all the new students came up with their unique ramp walk and gave poses towards the audience, each and every member including faculties enjoyed the ramp walk and they encouraged the participants. There were about 65 Students. They introduced themselves one by one in the allotted time which was 1 min per contestant. All of them were impressive in their own way. Later on the Fun team lead by Madhav and Sreeraj took on the stage in their funny way of attracting the audience towards them and adding cherry to the pie. After this, some of the first year students came up on the stage with their hidden talent and performed one by one. Three dance teams performed very well and these dance performance were very much exciting to watch. Solo singing performances were also performed by new students. On the basis of ramp walk, dancing performance and singing performance jury selected winners.

Once the results were out, it was the stage of achievement for the contestants. The winners of Ms. and Mr. Fresher were Monika Bhati (BBA LL.B. 1st Year) and Piyush (BBA LL.B. 1st Year) respectively. The winner of best dance Performance were Gunjan (BA.LLB 1st year). Ayush Dhunna (BBA LL.B. 1st Year) received the award for best Artist. The other awards given were Ms. Elegant to Kashish & Mr. Elegant to Sahil, Ms. well-dressed to Jasvinder & Ashi students of BA.LLB 1st year, and award for Mr. well-dressed won by Sangeeth (BBA LL.B. 1st Year) .The event was finally concluded with a vote of thanks and refreshments were served after the program.
